Softheads was initiated in 2011 in Barcelona by the artist and designer Sergio Roger and was soon joined by Cristina Olivé  as business partner and  sales & marketing manager.

The idea consists of creating objects which put a pacifistic and humorous spin on the once fashionable practice of displaying taxidermic hunting trophies. All pieces are textile-based, soft, hand-made and produced in Barcelona.

This project was inspired by a sculptural series produced by Sergio Roger in 2004 which was exhibited in various international galleries. It has been attempted to introduce the idea to the industry of design and handicraft.

Apart from new seasonal collections and models, Softheads offers custom-built projects in all areas of interior design while collaborating with other brands, designers and artists.
Softheads sets no limits to our costumers’ imagination, therefore you can customize any of their models with your fabrics or get a portrait of your pet. You just need to wish… And we will make it happen.

This stunning project utilises actual tree cuttings to make a fun play area

Mixing different materials like wood, twine and fur will amuse your cats for hours,

A REAL WOOD CAT TREE

Another DIY option, that utilises a fallen branch, rope and twine.
You can make this as large or as small as you want to,
but it’s always best to give your fur children as much room to prowl as possible.
The instructions are very easy to follow and you can add little touches as you go,
such as an area for scratching, a perch to sleep on and some little toys for them to ‘hunt’.
